MATERIALS AND SUSTAINABILITY: HEMPCREATE

 HEMPCREATE

For this project I will use high sustainable materials. We will reach that due to the use of environmental and local materials and technologies. One of this materials is hemp-create, this materials made of industrial cannabis.

Hempcreate has high thermal mass, which means that the buildings made of this material will have insulation and it will improve energy efficiency (Perry, 2023). Our buildings will have high energy efficiency which will help to reduce high energy use, which makes the operation of this facility quite economical.

The delivery of this material and the construction of these buildings will be carried out by a Kyiv company Hempire UA.

According to Hempire UA, due to the large amount of lime in hemp blocks, this material does not support combustion; with a wall thickness of 45 cm, this material has high fire resistance.
