Initial research - Futurism (Updated)

I decided to start my initial research from futurism because for my initial ideas I inspired by painting of futuristic artist Giacomo Balla.

Futurism

Futurism is a modern art movement originated in the beginning of the 20th century in Italy. For the first time a poem in this style of art by Italian poet F. T. Marinetti. This style of art is characterised by  emphasised the dynamism, speed, energy, and power of the machine and the vitality, change, and restlessness of modern life (Brittanica, 2024). In futuristic architecture artist usually working with organic shapes, curves which inspired by nature. This type of architecture often has an avant-grande design that uses innovative technologies and materials in constructions. One of the main goals of architects working in this style is to go beyond traditional architectural norms and come up with new possibilities for building.
Futuristic architects experiment with innovative forms, shapes, in this designs often prioritise functionality and efficiency. Futuristic buildings utilise environmentally sustainable materials and structures, such as glass, steel, carbon fibre glass. This materials can also enable innovative features such as self-healing facades (facade that can automatically repair small cracks). In many futuristic buildings we can see incorporating renewable energy sources, green roofs, efficient insulation systems, all these help minimise environmental impact and carbon hydrate footprint and promote more sustainable future.
Examples of innovative designs in futuristic architecture is Burj Khalifa, Dubai which is the world’s tallest building, The Gherkin, London, UK, designed by Norman Foster (see picture below)

This skyscraper features a cylindrical shape with a curved glass facade, this building energy-efficient, includes natural ventilation and some other innovation technologies.

These design inspired me from while I was brainstorming my ideas on the first session; In my first sketches and future development sketches I used similar form for my building and similar materials i was planing to use.
